Today was a super busy day. We got up about 6am, and my vest was dry, after being by the fire last night:

The fit around the arms wasn’t quite right, so Tammy was awesome enough to hand sew some bust darts into it while I was wearing it, then it fit a lot better:

Then we went to the post office, which was a total bust. But I’ll save that story for the show. We got stuck in traffic, and arrived late to our own meet n greet (how embarrassing!). People had been patiently waiting, so we jumped right in:

Once the meet n greet was done, we went exploring. The fairgrounds were packed:

It was also about 90 degrees. I managed to rock the vest until about 3, when I just couldn’t take it anymore. Though, even without it, I didn’t feel any cooler.

So much happened Saturday that it was kind of a blur. I’ll talk more about it on the show when I get a chance to record.

Today we explored Baltimore. Here’s the cliff notes version:

We hopped in the monster SUV (now cakked the SS K 'cause it's a boat)

I found a squirrel angel that I liked a lot.

I took a self portrait.

We encountered the sea monster of Baltimore.

I had cake for lunch.

I started the Woodland Spring Shawl

My vest got drier by the lobby fireplace.

And we stuffed goody bags!

Car Boo-Boo

Had a little car accident today. Long story. Everyone’s fine. No cosmetic damage. However, my wheel has to be like this to go straight. :( So, that’ll get fixed this weekend while I’m away.

I used the new pots to hard boil eggs for Bob tonight. One broke, and it was kind of pretty:

I went to Kohl’s after work today in hopes to find a top to go under the rapidly growing vest. Instead, I found this really awesome cookware set for half off the original price. And then, they were out, and only the display was left. So I got another half off. AMAZING deal. And, they’re pretty. :) Plus, we needed non-stick cookware in a desperate way.
