Bye Bye 2009
2009 December 31
Spent the first few hours of today in severe pain with double vision. Didn’t really get a lot of sleep.
Kevin took me to see a doctor. They gave me pain meds and told me to wait it out. Just what I wanted to hear.
The dogs seem to get that I’m really not feeling well, they’ve been very cuddly and quiet today. Not that they’re usually not quiet and all, but it’s been really low key:

It would be fitting that I spend the last day of 2009 in pain. I am so happy this year will be behind me in 35 minutes.
My list of 101 goals is done. I have two happy dogs beside me. And my pain isn’t nearly what it was this morning. Peace out 2009. Don’t let the door hit ya.

I started listening to your podcast this fall and have really enjoyed your enthusiasm about your knitting and your doggies…and also your honesty about the painful experiences you’ve been through this year. I hope 2010 will be a peaceful, happy, and rewarding year for you and those you love!

We suffered together–a migraine attacked me this week and held on for three long ass days. Ugh. I know how you feel. 2009 is all gone now and 2010 is going to be fabulous!
There’s been a recurring theme from almost everyone I know that 2009 could not be gone soon enough! Here’s to a great 2010. Hope you are feeling better.
