Exponential Happiness

Today was another kick ass day.

Got up, got ready, and Bob and I went to the auto show. It wasn’t quite like it’s been in years past, but we had a good time. Then we had lunch and watched a movie about a flying castle. I can’t remember the name, but it was really neat.

We headed to my parents’ house about 4, and had a delicious steak dinner and played some cut throat Uno. For my birthday, everyone pooled together and got me the artisan kitchenaide mixer!!!! It’s the awesome gunmetal color. A thing of sheer beauty. I can’t wait to clean off my countertops and set it up tomorrow. It’s going to be awesome. It was just as delicious as it was beautiful. Vanilla bean cake with chocolate icing that had strawberries blended into the icing. Then, topped with really yummy chocolate fondant. I wished I had eaten less diner food and more cake.
