I had the most delicious breakfast ever this morning. Some at the house, and I took some to work too.

Yummy
I need to work on baking more often. It really makes the whole house smell so good. And, now that I have two more people to feed my baking to, it gives me all the more reason to start. :)
I think the doggies had a good time away this weekend. They’re all three still sleeping the weekend off.
This was the scene as I left for work this morning:

Sleeping...
Simon was sleeping on the other couch. He doesn’t ball up quite as small as Scout & Paisley do. :)
Today was a bit harsh of a reality check.
I miss Arkansas. Taking pictures and wandering.
Now it’s back home. And remembering that my car needs to be fixed pronto, after staying the weekend in the hands of my dad, at his make believe body shop:

"Body Work"
Guess the door handles will be unshaved much sooner than I’d planned. Yay.
Time flew by so fast this weekend, I was so sad to leave. We almost didn’t get to though, the rain started as we were packing up the car – we were worried we’d be stuck on the mountain as the dirt roads turned into mud, but we made it.
Here are some shots of the cabin I took before we left:

Rainy Mountains
The whole drive home was rainy, but we did okay. It sure is a lot colder in St. Louis than it was in Jasper. I’m ready for spring.
We made it to Jasper safely. Here are a few pictures from the drive down yesterday:

This morning, we woke up and messed around with the cameras a bit before leaving:

We picked up a tripod at one of the shops in town, and were playing with the delayed shutter here. I was trying to run and jump so fast to get in the shot that I ended up landing in the water with one of my feet. We were both laughing so hard in this shot – I was glad I brought my snow boots of I’d have been soaked.

One Wet Foot
I took about a bajillion other pictures too, and some of them can be seen here. I’ll be steadily uploading more in the next few weeks as film gets developed and digital shots are sorted through.
We’re getting ready to head out onto the open road to Jasper, Arkansas this morning. There’s no internet and no cell phone reception there, and it makes me super happy to think about that. :) So, look for blog updates next week, but until then, here’s our awesome camera collection so far:

Recently acquired.

The Whole Collection
And yeah, they’re all coming with us. :D
Super slow going. Turns out you have to knit something to finish it.

Dress progress
On Monday, we went to a cafe that had some yummy bakery items and we ate them today. You can only guess how happy my belly is today:

"Birthday Party" Truffles

World's Best Cupcake
We went to goodwill today to see if there were any cameras there. No luck on cameras, but I did find this:

Cage Fail.

What kind of dog?
We went antiquing again today. This is the most fun I think I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am.
So, instead I’ll show you how simple my brownie camera is and you can be amazed.

Simple.
We got a few more today. Pictures to follow (as soon as we can find film, LOL).
