Easter Basket

It’s all art supplies and cothing goodies. No junk and no candy at all. I’m pretty proud of that. :)

Also, I went to a specialty cake shop this morning! It wasn’t quite as awesome as I’d hoped, though the unenthused teen at the counter may have helped that. Irregardlesslyable, here’s what I picked up at excellent prices:

It took making all these to really get the hang of what I was doing and understand the temperature of the oreo truffles to the temperature of the almond bark and how it reacted. I still have about 25 more to make. I’ll do them tomorrow morning when I’ve got a sharp mind and better lighting. These may never see the party tomorrow, but they’ll see the insides of bellies for sure. Oreo truffles + Jr. Mints = AMAZING.

Those little eggs in the cart with it? Those are “jumbo” eggs that I got too. The giant egg is a set of 3 that are nested. The biggest one comes up to my KNEE. Holy poo. Best $7 I’ve ever spent.

I’ve been having yogurt with fruit and granola every morning. It’s been so yummy. I’m addicted. And it’s good for me!!!

Also, I ordered new eyes. These are crappy pictures, but here they are:

Target has the best glasses ever. AND the best customer service ever. I didn’t think it was possible to love Target more than I did, but I was totally proved wrong with my Target Optical experience. Now the hard part is waiting like 2 weeks to get them in.

It’s very rare that she lay that still when there’s food around, especially still enough for a picture! The vet ran some tests, and she has hookworms and an infection. I’m so glad that’s all it is. I had my mind set on the worst case scenario. Worms and an infection will be easy to treat. All the dogs are on meds so we can kick this out quick.

After all that, we went to Bob’s parents’ house and dyed Easter eggs. It was an awesome time. Here are my favorite shots from the evening:
