Today was a bit harsh of a reality check.

I miss Arkansas. Taking pictures and wandering.

Now it’s back home. And remembering that my car needs to be fixed pronto, after staying the weekend in the hands of my dad, at his make believe body shop:

Halfsies Snow Day

We got about 3-4″ of snow overnight. My street and those around me aren’t under city maintenance, so it makes for a really good time if you have to go somewhere. Work made it a late start day, so I didn’t have to go in until 11, and it was a dead zone.

Today was a fake Thursday! It was a little long, but it’s done now. I picked Kevin up from work because he’s been awesome enough to let me use his car today and tomorrow because mine is broken. I “helped” him with a crossword puzzle, then there was dinner and video games at his house. I am not as good at Mario Karts as I remember, but he is good at fighting ninjas that have kidnapped the president.

Now I am back home, and sad that I have to be at work at 8 tomorrow instead of 9. Because it is nearly midnight, and I should be in bed. Instead, I’m here writing this blog and posting a picture.

Crosswords.

Tomorrow is my Friday! Once I’m off work, I hope to clean my house. We’ll see how that goes.

Today was pretty good. I started the day off with happiness:

Work was pretty slow, so I did leads all day… My eyes started to cross about 3:00 and headaches were had. So, I took some ibuprophen and sucked it up.

Paisley & I went to Kevin’s after that and took a walk to the grocery store. We had a delicious dinner, and Paisley spent the rest of the night trying to get the cats to play with her. It was unsuccessful. Maybe next time…

It’s cold out. I wore my fingerless mitts on the drive home. I really need to make those fish ones.

Paisley has been pretty excited to have me home and firmly planted on the couch tonight. She’s been laying quite close and “helping” me work on my freelance projects. I tried to get her to pose good with me on the webcam, but this was all I got:

Zombie Panda

Today was the longest day ever. Work was okay. I drew on the phone a lot (hence the panda and toasters). Left work, came home, got stuff together to pretend to pack. Went to knitting. Now I’m back home. And I’ve made my list of what to pack. Yet, it’s more fun to play online than pack. I should get over that quick. Time to pack.

When I post tomorrow, I’ll be in Michigan. I can’t wait!

Today I woke up 10 minutes before the alarm went off! Which is about an hour and ten minutes before I usually get up. So, I got on the elliptical and did that for an hour. While I was busting my bum, this was my view:

Evening Drive

Work was pretty slow today. The drive home was strange because it was getting dark. I wish I’d had my camera for the scene leaving work. Now I know better and will take it with me tomorrow.

I came home and did what I needed to do, then went out for a bit. The picture above is from my drive.

I can’t believe I’m leaving for Michigan in 3 days. I’m really excited to get to meet everyone. It will be a blast. :) For now, sleep.
